Before Elvis there was nothing...
Show business has been around for as long as there have been singers, dancers, musicians and entertainers and audiences willing to pay to see and hear them. For generations, performers travelled from town to town, theatres presented stars of their time, and music brought people together. But it was not until the 1950s, with the arrival of rock ’n’ roll, modern recording technology, television, international touring and new mass-marketing techniques, that the music business began to evolve into the complex, global, multi-billion-dollar industry we know today.

The rules changed. Artists became international stars. Records travelled across borders. Concerts became bigger, tours became longer and audiences wanted to experience the artists they had heard on the radio and seen on television, live and in person.

A new industry was being created around the music.

And that’s where our journey begins...

STAHL is a privately owned, full-service entertainment company founded in 1989, with its headquarters in Vaasa, Finland. For more than three decades, we have worked in the live entertainment industry, developing our business around three main areas:

Artist Agency
We represent artists and plan, book and coordinate concerts and tours worldwide, working with promoters, venues, festivals and other partners across the international live music industry. Our job is much more than simply putting a date into a calendar, a successful concert starts long before the artist walks onto the stage. Over the years, our work has taken us far beyond our home market in Finland, developing relationships and partnerships throughout the international entertainment industry.

Concert Promotion
As a concert promoter, we produce and promote live events throughout Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark since 2007, bringing national and international artists to audiences across the Nordic region.

Touring & Production Services
In 2017, STAHL expanded into touring and production services. Today, we provide practical touring solutions for both national and international artists travelling throughout Europe, including tour logistics, backline, transportation and touring personnel.

Over the years, STAHL has grown from an artist agency into a company capable of handling virtually every aspect of a live production from the first booking and contract to the equipment, logistics and people needed to put the artist on stage.

In September 2026, we took another major step forward by moving into our brand-new 600 m² office and warehouse facilities in Vaasa, Finland, giving us a new base for the next chapter of the company.

We started this journey in 1989 and after all these years, we still believe the most interesting part of the story is the part that hasn't happened yet.
